7 Weeks after chemo and I have still got swollen feet especially at night and left more.

I got fluid retention in my legs a month after finishing Taxotere and could hardly walk it was so painful, my onc gave me water tablets to take ( Furosemide ) and within a week or so it had eased off , im on Herceptin so my onc checked that the swelling wasn’t due to having that as well, apparently if the Herceptin affects your heart fluid retention is one of the symptoms so had heart scan which was ok so the swelling was due to the chemo…

I have had one herceptin 2 weeks ago, but had swelling before that .am seeing onc tomorrow so will ask her .Take care.

I’m 10 weeks from last taxotere and my feet/ankles are getting worse, I think it’s because I’m walking more now. Also on herceptin so back at hospital tommorow for that, will ask then about feet.
