swollen glands

Dear laydies,

I just post comment on the forum a few weeks ago about my waiting for a bone scan results. Today I went to the hospital for the results, mammogram and follow up. The bone scan was clear, this was a big relieve, but during the physical examination, the doctor found a swollen large gland under my axila and a tiny one on my collar bone. I am up for a biopsy tomorro and, as you all can imagine, absolutely terrify, shatered and don’t understanding how this has happen again.

Good luck for tomorrow and fingers crossed for a good result for you. Hopefully it will be just an infection.

Let us know how you go on.

Hiya,

I just wanted to wish you all the very best for tomorrow. I had a lump checked out by my surgeon a couple of weeks ago. He took a biopsy there and then and told me I would get the results in an hour! I was terrified as I was on my own and not really ‘psyched up’ to receive any sort of bad news. Thankfully mine turned out to be just fatty tissue, I’ve got everything crossed that yours turns out to be something similar.

Will be thinking of you, be sure to let us know how you get on,

Take care,

Kelly

Hi everyone.

I have my breast clinic appointment on Monday week, and have axillary swollen glands too. Plus weird pains in breast and arm, and peculiar digestive problems, causing gp to test for ovarian cancer too. Feel like I’m living in a parallel universe! Many thanks to JaneRA for her support, and best wishes to you all.

Sass xx

Hello ladies,

I went to the clinic by the en of last week and, although the biopsy results didn’t arrive yet, everything else seems to be fine. I have to come back on Wed for the biopsy results and if the doctor doesn’t find them conclusive, maybe I will need another biopsy. Let’s see what happens but to be honest, the glands are swollen and before they were normal so, I will be much more relax if I have and MRI or whatever other text that can be useful. I don’t know, since I was dx with cancer I live in a constant fear.
