Is there anyone having tamoxifen who has had endometriosis?
I’ve just read how tamoxifen works and looking on the internet see some research showing that it can cause flare up in endometriosis. I had a 6 hour operation 2 years ago to remove endometriosis including having a hysterectomy and significant section of my bowel removed so I’m very worried about this.
I don’t know if my Onc remembered that I’d had endometriosis as he almost forgot to prescribe me tamoxifen. If I’d realised how tamoxifen worked I would have queried at the time.
Anyone discussed with their Onc?
