Tamoxifen and missed period

Hi Ladies

I had lumpectomy and rads (no chemo) in October 2008. I have been on tamoxifen since November 2008, so just over 3 years, my periods during this time have all been normal every 28 days without fail, this month nothing, I have done 2 pregnancy tests - both negative, I am 43, anyone else had this, do i need to get it checked out?

Hi Maria

I would speak to GP about it first - the rule seems to be to get anything out of the ordinary (for you) checked out. They might do an examination, and blood test to check hormone levels.

how it is now? I am just almost the same age and thinking of quality of life after tamoxifen and mybe a possibility to get pregnant…
