Tamoxifen, cold legs and feet, swelling, heavyness, is this normal side effect?

Hi I started Tamoxifen few days ago, from day one I have experienced severly cold feet and lower legs, increased swelling and heavy feeling in legs.

 

Is this normal? not a sign of blood clot or slowed down circulation?

 

I am wheelchair user, use recliner chair at home, have placed cusion under feet to raise them a bit due to swelling, but worried about DVT.

 

Oncologist told me I was at higher risk of Deep vein thrombosis and keep look out for increased swelling, pain etc.

 

Does anyone eske experience this? or did initially and it settles down?
