I have been on tamoxifen for just over 6 months and have no periods in this time. I now have a very heavy period, is this normal? Thank you.

As you have experienced, tamoxifen can have an effect on periods. Some people find as you have that they stop all together. However, as you have now had a very heavy period after 6 months it’s important to contact your treatment team to let them know. They can assess and advise based on your individual situation.
