I had my mastectomy and immdeiate reconstruction (Diep Flap)a year ago. My new breast is a lot larger than the other, my ps. agreed on follow up surgery to reduce the size and form a new nipple. My op was cancelled as the resutls from my pre op checks came back showing a low white cell count. I have had bloods done again showing the same results. Does anyone know of tamoxifen causing this. I have been referred to a heamatoligist. I wonder if there are any other drugs which can raise white blood count, if the hormone treatment is causing this. I really want to have my breast made more normal looking but the ps will not go ahead so long as I have this low cell count. thanks

not sure on the blood count, I had my recon reduced twice via lipo, this didn’t need a pre op as opted for local rather than general, also had my nipple done with first lipo.
this may give you another option.
