Goodness I am so up and down at the moment. The rads rang me to cancel the 4.00pm appt on Tuesday and make it at 2.40 the same day. Bit worrying as my original appt. was for Monday anyway. I hope they know what they’re doing!!
Can’t remember if I told you that the steroids have induced diabetes so I have to inject myself now. I hate it. I have had two hypos, they’re very frightening and I can’t drive , so perhaps I won’t be able to get to the appt anyway.
It’s getting a bit of a nightmare!

Hi Margaret Same happened to my my future daughter in laws Mum, she did no have chemo, had lumpectomy and Rads , she was on steroids for a while then devleoped type 2 diabetes.Having a s**t time are’nt you , were are you having your treatment. I feel like my emotions are in shreds somedays so understand wher you are coming from Love Bobbie

Start my rads this Monday. I am telling myself it’s ok because everyone says it’s a doddle. I still haven’t heard anything about the tamoxifen but I think I will be told next week when I go to rads.
Yesterday I had the hickman line taken out and now I feel liberated, I never realised how much it contributed to reminding me I had cancer! I expect that you can imagine how ill I felt about having this done, I have turned into a pathetic wimp, but at last it’s out and the chemo bit is over.
Where are you on your rads now and have you started the tam?

Hi all
I have just started taking Tam, have rads during August and recovering from ANC. Back to work slowly this week… 
my hair is growing back - finished chemo beg May - and want to loose the weight I have gained - about 12 lb! but from what you all say perhaps I wont! 
I hope some comes off with my energy levels higher now and able to cycle and walk at normal pace!
I cant fit into some clothes that I want to wear for a wedding in Sept and some summer clothes!
small price to pay really for all treatment to combat BC…
