has anybody taking tamoxifen had any liver problems i am on it my self and just wondered

I have only been on it for a month so far. I have secondary BC with liver mets and am hoping it won’t affect my liver function. It is listed as a side-effect (albeit a rare one). Are you having some problems? If your LFT’s (liver function tests) are slightly raised, I wouldn’t worry too much but have a word with your doc. Lots of things can raise LFT’s - one of mine - ALT was raised with chemo but has returned to normal.

hi thanks for your reply having no problems at moment just that i heard it can cause problems of the liver do you know if they give you regular blood test

LFT’s can be requested when you have your bloods checked. It might be useful to ask your GP to heck them as a baseline and then maybe after 3-6 months.
