Hi iv just had my first tax and although se no where near as bad as fec my skin in my hands n face is itchy and hot and painful ! Iv read it’s one if the se of tax that it’s the chemo in my tissue just wondering wat people have done to soothe or remedy used Nivea and aveeno n even savlon still bad thanx

I’ve had bad reaction to tax on my hands this week - red, itchy, burning - and despite taking antihistamines (piriton) and rubbing calamine lotion what feels like every 10mins I ended up in hospital today as my hands were driving me insane. In the end the only thing that was giving me any respite was putting my hands in ice water.
Just got back home after having massive does of antihistamines via IV.

ps. I was told that it’s not just tax related but build up from from all the chemo I’ve been through and it could also be photosensitive so not looking forward to the sunny weather next week
