Hi, I was diagnosed in 94 with breast cancer and lung mets in 2007, have had 3 courses of chemo now im on cabetabine and going to start Taxalere on top for 3 months, Im so tired and feed up with it all, I know I will be sick as im very sensitive to chemo, has anyone had both together and if so howw did you feel, please dont be holding back I am a positive person but worn out. Alos I was thinking of booking a week at The Bristol centre for cancer patients as Im in need of letting it all go, anyone been?

Hi Georgia, I’m afraid I can’t help you at all as I have recently dx’ed bc & bone mets and have not had any chemo whatsoever so far. However, I’m seriously looking into the Bristol Cancer Centre - would probably be looking at the two-day course as a starter but I think even one day there would be beneficial. I’ve just ordered a couple of books from their shop today, looking forward to those arriving.
I’m sure someone with lung mets and experience of these chemos will be along shortly to give you some advice, sorry I can’t be of any more help.
