hi just wondering if anyone has been on this regime. I am 46 this is my secend BC first in 2008 had SNB, WLE chemo & rads now hacve a recurrance on scar and small lung nodule treating as bc rather than lung .
Due to start Taxol weekly and Avastin , i think two weekly cannot remenber at momment. Also discussed cold cap ? does this work is is really uncomfortable?
Tips or experiences welcome, does it take all day to have ? what are side effects like??

Hello Sarah,
I did Cold cap and it worked for me ! It is freezing cold and it can be painful and give you a headache but with a few hints and tips it is okay. I wrapped myself up in warm clothes and a big scarf. I also took a hot water bottle with me for my veins as they could not find them very well on a few occasions. I know some patients take paraceatomol to help with the pain symptons but I did not find it that bad really. Good luck with your decision. You can always try it and then stop if you cannot stand it. !!
