To all those who participate in this forum: I don’t believe you fully realize the positive effects you have on those who come here. January 24th will be 6 years since diagnosis and even though I live “across the pond”, this is the site in which I felt the most comfortable.I have made some very long lasting friends, and yes, have lost a few.The most surprising aspect of discussions in UK sites is the lack of explanations your doctors give.If there is one bit of advice I can give it is this. BE A PAIN!!! Ask questions. The doctors are not gods, although a nurse I know swears some of them came out on top in med school in “GOD 101”.
