Thank you everyone for the support over the past week - it’s felt like the longest week of my life. I went to the breast clinic today, had a mammogram and ultrasound. I found my lump about 2 weeks ago, and it is large, uneven and hard and immoveable (about the size of a segment of orange, and that shape too).
The ultrasound doctor said it was just normal lumpy glandular tissue - hormone related changes or something. I am so relieved, and want to say thanks to everyone here for the information, help and support.
So even if your lump is big, it may not be bad. Good luck to everyone else too.
