hi all, just want to say thanks to all who gave me advise on tact2 i go back to hospital on monday so will sign up then. i go for heart scan on tuesday which i dread but im sure i will get through it.i thanks again dot hugs and xxxx to you all

Don’t worry about the heartscan… it was very straightforward… only thing was that you had to lie in the one position, with your arm above your head, but it’s well-supported. It seems a long time ago that I had mine, but I can’t recall anything negative about it… just a necessary, routine evil… Another step on the way towards the end of the treatment… I was on the TACT 2 trial (arm 3 - 4 x Epi, 4 x Xeloda) and finished chemo a couple of weeks ago. I know it’s easy to say with hindsight, but I can’t believe that’s 6 months past since I started it in early June. A few ups and downs and occasional blips, but I tried to keep very positive throughout and it wasn’t nearly as bad as I had imagined it would be… I start radiotherapy on Monday… another hurdle, but hopefully the final one… whew!
