I have just logged on to the Bad Fairy’s blog - ramblingsofabadfairy.blogspot.com/ - to see a post from her husband saying that she died at 5.15pm on Friday 8th October.
I came across her blog on this forum a couple of months ago. I thought it was wonderfu - brave, funny, honest, incredibly touching and beautifully written. I have looked forward to reading it ever since.
Rest in Peace, beautiful Bad Fairy. My thoughts are with you, your husband and lovely children.

I never met her, nor even corresponded with her, but I cannot stop crying.

I was immediately attracted to your posting, I am always saddened by any related death to breast cancer, but on a lighter note my daughter always calls me ‘moomintroll’ you are the first person I have come accross with this very cute name. Sorry I have drifted from the topic of conversation which is very rare for me these days.
I left a message on Bad Fairy’s blog yesterday. Such sad news, I so admired her spirit.
Such sad sad news. I started to read ‘The Bad Fairy’s’ blog after she posted a link on this site. I found her blog diaries very moving and she told her stories in such an amusing and interesting way that I felt I actually knew Mr Bad Fairy and Master and Miss Bad Fairy.
She was so young when she was diagnosed with both primary and secondaries having two small children. My heart goes out to her family and friends. This is such a cruel cruel disease.
RIP Bad Fairy and get painting those rainbows… xx

what can I say? I followed Bad Fairy post on several websites and ‘spoke’ to her on the Macmillan chat site.
What a shock. She had a fanastic sense of humour and a lovely way with words.
I feel really sad, another life lost to this awful disease.

Whilst reading the Bad Fairy’s blog didn’t exactly lead me to believe in happy endings, it certainly made me believe in happy days, in joyful times, in sunshine and rainbows.
I am so saddened to read of this terrible loss. I cannot imagine how her husband and young children must feel - my heart goes out to them and to everyone who had been blessed with having known and loved the Bad Fairy.

I am so saddened and shocked - I can’t access blogspot here so was unaware of this terribly sad news. Bad Fairy one of the friends I met through our mutual blogging, and I cherished her support. She used to call by my blog and leave fairy dust and when I could access her blog I was reciprocate with Gecko goo.
She will be sorely missed, and Mr Bad Fairy, and Master and Miss Bad Fairy are very much in my thoughts and prayers.

Very sorry to read this news she corresponded to me several times throughout our illnesses always wise words, such a loss of another woman taken too soon due to this horrible disease. Sending much love to her family and friends at this awful time.
