The Bristol project

Hello
Whilst having chemotherapy I overheard another patient talking about the Bristol Project. It seems her and her husband were going to attend a weekend course discussing lifestyle, nutrition & counselling.
I felt a bit rude listening in or interrupting.mi have tried googling this, but haven’t found anything that appears to relate to breast cancer, just drug addiction. Has anyone else heard about this or experienced it?
Thanks
Sharon

He might have been referring to Penny Brohn, which is based in the Bristol area. I haven’t been myself so can’t make any comment on it, but have spoken to them once or twice and they sounded lovely. They have a range of courses that might be of interest.

If you read on their website they also talk about the “Bristol Approach”

I only know snippets about them as well

Quite a few ladies from the boards have been to Penny Brohn formerly known as the Bristol Cancer Help Center based in Bristol. There is lots of information on the web about the Bristol Approach.

Many thanks guys. I’ll check out the links you kindly posted.
Thank you xx
Sharon

I have a friend from Bristol who swears it made all the diff when she had her bc about 15 years ago.
