hi i am fairly new to this site. i have asked lots and read lots. thank you everyone. but one thing i have noticed is how many people have the name Julie on here… is there something in the name. my grandmother was a julie and she had bc as well. perhaps we could find out how many of us there are…maybe its because its my name i notice it more what do you think. anyway have a good weekend to you all…

Ruth is also extremely common here - until I got BC I had hardly ever heard of a Ruth!

I am sure some new research will be done on popularity of names that get BC. I am sure that its inevitable -first our food…our names must be next!

I bet we are all under 50 too!

I think if stats are correct and only 20% of BC is in women under 50 then most of them must post here. So many ladies have small children on this site. It can be heartbreaking to read sometimes.

I am not a Julie. I’m a Mary.

But I am under 50. I am 40. And I have small children.

My guess is a lot of the older ladies either don’t use the internet much or may not like public forums.

love the comments and its nice to hear you love the thread Olivia. It makes me smile every time i see a new post. i love light hearted things and we all need some of that. it was just a simple thought but obviously got peoples interest. i remember when i was teaching before i had children but was pregnant and thinking of names i loved the name James for a boy. But in the private school where i was working at the time there were a few James and they were all a bit on the devilish side if you know what i mean… So when i had my second child i still liked the name so decided to use it for a middle name and believe me he had the devil in him but very lovable…so perhaps there are things linked to names. thanks to you all again for cheering me up.
