I’d really like to hear from people who have experience with this. I know there is a similar thread and I replied to it, but I think the moment had passed and no one else has commented since.
I have a pain just where the wire in the bra would be (but I don’t wear wired bras) and it runs in a line down my ribs and down my stomach. I can actually see a cord running down the stomach. And it pulls when I stretch.
I got cording just after surgery (under my arm) and this seems similar.
Anyone else? I don’t know if I should contact the breast nurse about this.
I finished radiotherapy in May and thought I was doing well until this started about two weeks ago.

hi Oasis, i only have cording under my arm, so not sure what yours is, but i think lymph glands do work in mysterious ways, call your bc nurse asap just to put your mind at rest please

Dear oasis, I have the same problem as you a cord running dowm my right side from my scar down my ribs, I am seing oncologist this afternoon for a check and will mention to her, I will let you know how i get on.
Dear oasis, Been to the oncologist and it is cording, she said it was quite normal and strewtching and massage would help.

I finished Rads in Jan 07. I have a tender bit at the top of my ribs where my underwired bit would go (if that makes any sense)! Its looks like a bit of a sticking out rib…I was told it was radiotherapy scarring and should get better.
