High ladies. My hair (2 years on) is great, except it’s thin on top and really thin at the front. I HATE photos of me…
My cancer hair place has given me “NANOGEN” - a micro powder that comes in different (hair) shades - you put it on, it sticks to the hair that’s there and ‘bulks it up’ - sort of makes each air thicker, and it looks thicker. There is a spray to hold it in place too. It works. Not cheap - each of them are £18/19 from a chemist that reminds you of a shoe… or you can get them online…
Forever living do an aloe Vera drink. I know someone who drinks this and her hair has thickened. Obviously it would need checking out if you are on any medication.
i used Nioxin and my hair started to come through quite quick but its thin baby hair like! But I’m only 4months post chemo! So might try your suggestion Jane!

Jane, I have used Nanogen a few years ago as I had thinning hair from polycystic ovary disease. I agree it does work. However, I went to see a specialist hair consultant in London who recommended a cocktail of supplements / vitamins, which also worked, so I stopped using the Nanogen. I’ve got some of the powder (medium brown) and spray left, probably half a pot of each. I would be more than happy to post them to you if you could make use of them. PM me with your address if you can use them.

I was taking Sea Kelp, Silica and Flaxseed oil. Must say though that I stopped taking them when i started treatment and havent got back into them again. My hair has come back ok though, funnily enough. I also dont think you should take Flaxseed oil if you are HR+.
Yes, if anyone wants to try the Nanogen, pM me and I will post it to you. My hair is now grey / white so they are of no use to me!

Don’t know if this will help but while I had no hair I rubbed Jojohba oil and olive oil (from chemist) into my scalp every night. I used jojohba one night and olive the next night. Once my hair started growing it grew fast and is quite thick now. My hairdressers said she thinks it is thicker than before. I also once saw on a medical programme that taking prohibotic’s from health shop can promote healthy hair growth.
