Hello, i too am getting realy down with the pain, and i now find it has caused thickening of my womb and stomach pain, as well as the joint pain, and i ache all over non stop…realy want to stop taking the Tamoxifen but been on it now 30 months and to think of having to carry on for the rest of the 5 yrs is realy getting me down…help please…and advice…Dawn.

Hi Dawn, I’ve also been on Tamoxifen about the same amount of time and I’ve decided to stop for the time being due to awful pain in my knees, I’ve recently been diagnosed with the onset of arthritis but I think it’s more than that as both knees are awful and I’m really struggling , I’m going to stop for a month and take it from there, I was originally told I would be on them for 5 years then at my check up in April they said 10! ?? Not sure I’d be walking by then!! Xx Jo
