Can anybody please tell me if they suffer from thrush quite often, since starting Tamoxifen in March i have had it on quite a few occasions but my GP cannot tel me if this is the reason or not.

Yes I have had it at leat 5 times in 2 years. My GP said it can be a side effect.

Tell ,me about it…get it very regularly…use SYLK which helps with the vaginal dryness, but get bouts of thrush , use the pessarys and cream sometimes but sometimes thats not strong enough and i get a prescription from GP for oral medication.

start chemo thusday, im prone to thrush, is it woth eating loads of live yougart or does the chemo just kill everything?

I’ve been on Tamoxifen since February and have severe virginal irritation twice - both times it has been when I have had my monthly period (which is actually more like spotting) but has disappeared immediately the bleeding has stopped. Am planning to ask about it at my next appointment.
