Tight chest had some lymphs taken out on friday, today my chest feels really tight, is that usual?

By tight chest do you mean you are finding it hard to breath? If so it is worth phoning someone (e.g. GP) as you may have an infection.

If you mean the skin/muscles/tissues feel tight around your chest it is probably fluid build-up. That will clear. It is really important to do your exercises to get things moving.

I felt tight and very numb after mine (op 2/3/07) - I still feel numb in a few patches but seem to have got used to the feeling now so don’t really notice it.

Generally if in doubt phone either your BCN/GP or the Helpline - don’t sit and worry.
