I finished my chemo last monday, yes it does come to an end eventually , and begin my radiotherapy on the 24th should finish that on the 20th aug. But when i saw the consultant to sign my consent forms on friday he was concerned that i dont see my oncologist untill sept 6th to begin my hormone treatment . Just woundered when everyone else started there hormone treatment , and how soon after radiotherapy.
I have my last chemo on wednesday. I saw my oncologist last wednesday as he wanted to see me before i finished all chemo. He went through all the rads stuff and I signed on the dotted line underneath all his scribbly writing. He also gave me my first prescription for tamoxifen which I start on the 2nd August, two weeks clear last chemo. Hes doing hormone and rads at the same time with me chica, but Im guessing that all plans are different. Might be worth giving them a ring to find out whats what
Have contacted BC nurse and have an appointment now on monday to see my oncologist to discuss my hormone treatment i think the problem lies in the fact that i have two consultants who dont seem to communicate with each other ,each thought the other had sorted out my hormone treatment
