morning i had a lumpectomy last weds,get results on thursday but although my scars are healing ok i have an awful tingling on the inside of my arm,its a numbing pins and needles and also feels really cold,is this normal? and if so any ideas how to help,would massage help or my wheat bag iv rung my bc nurse an left a message for now.its driving me crazy girls any ideas thanks Lynne x

Sounds within the realms of normal to me - altered sensation with nerve damage is a strange thing. I had tingling, soreness - like bad sunburn, and a feeling that the back of my arm was wet all the time!
A month on, it’s not so sore or tingly but the sensation is still peculiar. I’ve been told to get used to it, and slowly I am.
Exercises and massage both help. xxxx Jane
hi just spoke to my bc nurse she said not to massage it but to make sure im getting plenty of rest.that it may take some time before it goes away and give myself bit more time to heal.feelin bit depressed today stuck in the house carnt drive yet,sorry moaning im sure you all have these feelings too.
