Hi girls I finished my rads last wed but now have an itchy rash over my chest and under my boob which is driving me mad . I am applying aqueous cream three times a day but it doesnt stop the itch, any tips out there?? pleasee
It is like an allergy rash as wonder if some kind of tablet like anti-hayfever would help? No clue just a thought that’s all… has your BCN been unable to offer advice?
I had a similar rash just near the end of my rads.I was advised by the rads nurse to use a mild hydrocortsone,she gave me a tube,but you can buy it over the counter.I also took an antihistamine tablet (hayfever) which helped with the itch.

It drives you insane, when your skin is so fragile and yet it’s itchy, you have my sympathy there, Zea.
Like Dotchas and Suzi I found an antihistamine very helpful for preventing my ripping my skin to shreds.
Give your radiotherapy dept a call and ask to speak to the radiotherapy nurse. If you can get down there to see her/him, they may be able to give you something to ease your symptoms on the surface as well.
