TNBC refused chemo

Hi everyone
I was diagnosed with TNBC 29 May and after discussion with oncologist refused chemo. She was great and then offered me lumpectomy and radiotherapy. I asked why this hadn’t been offered and she said it was down to stats . If I had 6 months chemo, then lumpectomy, then radiotherapy and it worked I had 87% chance of surviving 10 years. If I had lumpectomy then radiotherapy and it worked I had 76% chance of surviving 10 years.
I know everyone is different but chemo scares me more than the cancer itself.
No one knows if they will be here in 10 years anyway and quality of life is so important to me.
I’ve had lumpectomy and surprisingly have been ok, not a great deal of bruising, driving 3 days after op, right breast so seatbelt ok.
Back 24/7 to hopefully be told when radiotherapy will start.
Has anyone else gone down this route?
Whatever path you’ve chosen hope your all well and staying positive.
