TNBC treatments

Hi there

I was diagnosed with TNBC on 11th May and have been on the roller coaster of tests and hospital appointments since 10th April. I have been told that because my immune system is compromised I won’t be able to have chemotherapy as part of my treatment plan. Has anyone else been treated with just surgery and radiotherapy because it seems that chemo tends to form a major role in the treatment of TNBC. I have an appointment with the sugery team tomorrow and I am hoping to find out what the plan is going forward. Thank you

My immune system is compromised but I also have asthma and some other health issues. They said that they felt that I would not cope with the chemotherapy and that it could actually make me very poorly or worse. I am now waiting for a date for surgery and then they think that I will be offered radiotherapy. The surgeon said that there would be a discussion once pathology was back.
