I know you both wanted to ask me about my DIEP surgery. I tried to get your e-mail addresses , or give you mine via the moderator, but nothing has happened!
So ask away, I’ll do my best to answer on this thread, though it would have been nice to ‘talk’ pesonally!

I also requested your e-mail address. I have contacted moderator and asked once more and given permission for mine to be forwarded…so I think it should be sorted soon. Yes, it would be good to’talk ’ personally, otherwise the forum gets taken over by our questions.
Look forward to exchanging e-mails. Hope your knees are improving Helen, it’s just another little setback for you…hopefully not for long…I know how disappointed you must be, but hang on in there.
Just a thought…did you have arthritis before treatment? I now have arthritis in my shoulders ( picked up by last bone scan) which I didn’t have before and it wasn’t mentioned after 1st scan before treatment started.

Hi Helen I got an email from moderator today asking for permission to give you my email address so hopefully we can contact each other soon.
I am seeing the plastic surgeon on Monday. Any help with questions to ask would be helpful. Also, were you shown many before and after photoes? Did you see photoes of ops that werent as successful as others? Also, how long were you off work after the op? I can’t remember now whether you’ve had bilateral mastectomies. If not, did you need any work on your other breast?
These are just the first questions to spring to mind.
