First chemo set for tomorrow at Mt Vernon. Went for a look around last week everyone was so friendly does not seem so frightening but at the moment u range from denial to petrified. Read an amazing book over the weekend The Yellow World about a Spanish guy who went through cancer from 14 to 24. Amazing truly inspirational

Work have been incredible so looking to see how I go re full or reduced hours. Has anyone planned or know of anyone who travelled overseas just Europe while on chemo have a conference I want to go to in Germany in June.

Hi good luck for today! I live in Cyprus and am planning to travel back to UK for a week in 2 weeks time it will fall midway between session 2-3 so I am hoping to be well enough to go. Oncologist says its ok providing you take precautions not to come into contact with germs. I plan to wear a face mask in airport and on plane! As long as you are in Europe and near a hospital you should be safe enough. Just make sure you are insured in case you have to cancel.
