can anyone help me,my breast cancer was 17mm grade 3 with i lymph node,my tumour was er neg but pr pos,there seems to be alot of wommen with reacurance that are triple neg,is there any good stories out there,i am havin my last fec in 2 weeks then radio,my onc said i will have tomoxafen but it wont give me much protection thanks

I am another er- but pr+ Has your onc told you whether you are weakly or strongly pr+? Has he/she given you a percentage or score? Love xxx

no,i darent ask any questions,i will ask next time i go.its a scarey time.have u finished your treatment? i have got to have 1 more fec the thought of it makes me feel sick,then 3 weeks radioxxxx

I was dx in May 2006. Have been on tamoxifen since May 2007 but am also HER2+. Just had a clear mammogram. Love xxx

thats great news,i think its the chemo makin me feel low,my brain is crap at the mo,cant wait till i finish ive had 6 fec most women had 3 fec 3 tax dont know why i havnt,im bein treated at the derby royal xxxx

Hi Drabble

Have posted below a link which you may already have seen but if not, it does show the benefits of taking hormone therapy for er- pr+ bc. There really isn’t very much information out there on this. I don’t know whether you will be able to click on the link but if you google it in hopefully you will still get the page.

For me as soon as my onc said I would benefit I was out like a shot to the pharmacy with my prescription. I have no idea in percentage terms what my benefits are but as I have young children I have to make sure I take as much as there is on offer to help me stay around for them. Love xxx

thanks,i know what you meen about takin everything you can to stay here for your kids.i have 4 children 18,15,12,10 hoe old are yours?i still cant believe this has happened,oh well it has and ive just got to get on with it,last chemo on 26th really dont want it last one made me feal so poorly,take care xxxxx

Sorry to but in, but drabble I just had to laugh when you said you were too scared to ask questions, I know exactly what you mean. What a nightmare for us all hey. I am er+, so as i said, sorry for butting in. Have just had last of 6 chemo’s, thank f*** that’s over and am due to start radiotherapy soon.

hi jane,good news finishin chemo i cant wait,did u have fec? this bloody disease,wish i was er pos,but im not so just have to get over it,take care xxxx
