Has anyone had a TRAM flap recon, following LD flap?
I had the LD flap last Sept and Jan this year and i am not liking it at all…
I can’t get my head round the implant and how it feels, it does not feel or look natural and i am just not happy… 
Also can’t come to terms that i will look like this forever, undressed it is not great looking - huge fish shaped scar which covers the whole of my reconstructed breast -just horrid…

I am having my DIEP next week (Wednesday), I had the LD flap a few years ago but had loads of infection so had it removed.
You will still have scars with the DIEP but of the ladies I have spoken with and the ones I have seen the DIEP looks very natural and they say after time feels more natural.
Have you spoken with your breast surgeon? if so are they happy to change your reconstruction for you
I hope you get what you feel happy with everyone deserves that.

I am seeing the surgeon in a few weeks and will mention it then.
Not sure what my options are now, he did say i was not an ideal candidate for the tram procedure, due to lack of flesh
( I beg to differ!).
Really not liking the new breast and the good side which was lifted, has dropped, while the recon side sits high up still!
