Triple Negative and several nodes testing positive

So frequently when people are describing their diagnosis they add … but fortunately no nodes involved. This scares me because I had 9/10 nodes which tested positive. I know its not the best diagnosis but is it really so bad to have a large proportion of nodes affected? I was diagnosed last June. Had lumpectomy and total axillary clearance followed by 3 Fec and 3 Tax and radiotherapy - last treatment February. I feel really well and refuse to believe that I am not. However I would be immensely encouraged to hear from other survivors of a similar diagnosis. Of course if no one replies I will be really scared but then again it might just make me even more determined to survive!

Hiya
I had chemo followed by surgery, WLE and SNB. Was due to start rads 15th Aug.
I got a lump in under arm, tested cancerous.
SNB was inaccurate.
I had Level 3 full axillary clearance 2 weeks ago.
In total 31 nodes removed with 2 nodes affected.
Lots taken out with nerve damage, in a lot of discomfort.
Rads due to start 26th Sept.
Before all this I was fit, non-smoker , rarely drank alcohol.
Hopefully in time this will heal and get back to normal life.
I’m 33 married and luckily 2 girls.
This year has been a bad dream.

I had 6 nodes positive out of 15 - I was diagnosed nearly 2 years ago and now over a year since heavy treatment finished. I hope you are doing well. Hugs P

6 nodes affected out of 11 for me, and further spread despite chemo.
More surgery soon, not sure where i’m at in all fairness.

Well - thank you so much for your replies. No one quite with the same proportion as me but its early days! To Blondie I would say … this time last year I was on second chemo and and it was a hard journey from then till February. However, since then I have felt stronger and stronger both emotionally and physically. Have just come back from Greece and had a wonderful time swimming and playing with the kids to my hearts content. Can swim further and faster than both of them (I am 55 and they are 22 and 15)! Have really regained my confidence in my body - something I thought would never happen - and its a great feeling. Now feel as healthy as I ever felt if not more so. Was saying to someone the other day I can hardly remember what the treatment felt like. Yes it was horrible at the time but it is now a distant memory and will be for you too. Good luck - you can do it! Thanks to everyone else who replied. I hope other people chip in too.

Sorry - pressed the submit button early! meant to say ‘good luck’ to everyone else. Love and best wishes. Cx
