HI
I am new to this sight. I have grade 3, 2 centimeter tumor with 10/13 lymph nodes involved. 2 lumpectomies, one in february the other in march 2008. I’ve just been told that my cancer is triple negative and I am waiting for my appointment to start my chemo, then followed by radiotherapy.
I am trying to keep positive as much as possible. I was just wondering about the outcome and if any body knows of anyone who has survived longer than 5 years.

Hi Katie,I had a grade3,2,4cm triple neg tumour.Only one lymph node was involved but there was so much vascular invasion they expected it to return within 10mths! Had 4xFEC,4xTAX and 25 rads.I’m four and a half years down the line and feeling fine! Triple neg tumours respond better than other types to chemo and rads.Good luck with the treatment.I hope you sail through it like I did!
