Finished my chemo and rads Aug 08 but still getting the odd bout of sickness (vomiting) and bowel probs the latter has been attributed to IBS. Cannot eat fish or drink alcohol anymore either has anyone had similair probs since finishing chemo. I am taking 20mg Tamoxefin daily and getting fat as a pig and have not found my energy increasing much at all???

I also had occasional vomiting since finishing chemo and radiotherapy .In my case it was caused by gastritis which I never had before chemo,but now have to take ranitidine long term,also alcohol makes the sickness,vomiting worse I think it inflames the stomach lining .I mean very small amounts I was taking .I am also on tamoxifen and don’t know if this also causes stomach problems .
I finished chemo and rads june 08 ,though I sometimes have a few good days when I have a lot of energy,most of the time I still feel tired.
I really wish that now we have "finished treatment "( except for tamoxifen) we would feel a lot better ,but it hasn’t really happened for me .I hope you are feeling more energetic soon
