Hi everyone, not posted for ages, like the new layout.
I’ve been unwell on and off for months, and have just had two blood tests as the first showed lots of infection and the “norms” were very bizarre. So just had the CA 153 and for the last three times it’s been 14, this time it’s 16. Anyone shed some light on this?
I’m going for an internal ultrasound (ovarian) as I’ve got a niggle pain in that area and know I have a cyst there. So feeling a bit under the weather to say the least.

Hi there, I’ve been having the CA15-3 markers every month since early 2004.
Normal range…ie someone with no active cancer or someone with no cancer is up to 35…some hospitals say 38 so your markers sound absolutely fine to me. The 2 points difference is so very small, you will find those same fluctuations in someone who has never had breast cancer.
(Mine are in the normal range because Arimidex is working for me at the moment.)
