I watched this, it was ok. I just dont think you can tell a BC story in a 20 minute film so for anyone watching it that hasnt been through it not sure they would appreciate the months this disease takes from us. Sorry for negativity just my opinion x
Not sure what I expected but it wasn’t for me, particularly, the tiled “survivor” wall for reaching the 5year mark. I remember it was released last October in the US for BC awareness month, so I suppose it falls into the raising awareness category.
yes I also enjoyed it. I turned to look at my husbands face when Cheyanne showed her scars, but he didn’t react. My son then asked whether thats how mine would look when its done (wish I had her body for a start!)
I thought each of the five stories were great, well directed. Was quite shocked when Pearl the Oncologist was diagnosed with BC - we forget sometimes they are only human and being a doctor, Nurse or oncologist doesn’t make you immune.
Heres hoping I can kiss a wall at 5 years.
