I have finished my chemo now and the last three were tax. I had my last one on 29th November. I am very much over the nasty side effects. I am however still having nerve problems with finger tips and feet!
I just wonder if anyone else who has finished is now suffering with an almost constant twitchy eye and cramp in both feet?
These are new things for me. Not once did I have either of these symptoms during chemo.
Hi Bird,
I had numb fingers and toes for about two months after chemo, only just realised that it has completely gone when reading your post… I guess I just got used to it.
I am afraid, no advice on the eyes

had very sore feet during my 4 sessions of tax i put it down to the drug when my treatment finished my feet was just the same found i was dragging my feet and not lifting them went back to my gp was diasnosed with planter filetious (policemans foot) they say it can go as quick as it cums very painful still waiting for it to go was told to take anti-inflamtorys to releive the pain hope this helps
The only thing that springs to mind with the eye is whether you lost your eyelashes during chemo and they’ve been a bit sore or dry. Sometimes this can cause a twitchy eye.
I have had a lot of cramp in one leg and foot which I thought was probably tamoxifen rather than chemo. That’s the trouble you get so many odd things going on and you don’t know what’s caused what!
Hi
Not had the cramp, but def had twitchy eye during and after tax. Was told it was tax jangling the nervous system and nerve endings. Has gone now. Probably went about a month after last chemo.
I finished chemo (FEC) end of June 10, I’m on Tamoxifen now. I still get twitchy eyelids and really bad leg cramps all the time. I don’t really know whether it is a side effect or not…just thought I would share!
