Had a mastectomy two months ago, and fortunately had the all clear and no further treatment. I am back doing everything I did before surgery now and feel physically well. Mentally, a bit wobbly, especially now its near Christmas, and wanted to dress up for the first time since the op. I had a lovely top that I hadnt worn and couldnt wear it because of the neckline, not particularly low but square cut and every blasted huge mastectomy bra showed! Its a small price to pay I know but I suppose it brought things home to me a bit, because I had been a bit mentally numb about it. Anyway, tiop gone to charity shop!
Id just like to send best wishes to everyone going through various stages of bc and hope your outcomes will be good. Ive been very lucky I know.
