Hi all had a blood test n had a slight raise in liver have been waiting for a scan for a couple of weeks n hav just got a letter not until 22nd July. It says it’s an ultrasound on abdomen will they just do th liver or whole abdomen. I hav read some threads on here were th ultrasound hasn’t shown problems just MRI. Just wondered if anyone has had something similar n what symptoms they had. Waiting for some more blood results xx
Hi, I had slightly raised LFT when diagnosed and had a abdominal ultrasound,I’m not 100% sure but think it just concentrated on the liver.It showed that I had a fatty liver but also picked up a very tiny bit that was not fatty so had to have CT scan.Everything was fine and the tiny bit turned out to be from where I had a liver biopsy years ago.

Hi, LFTs are often raised following cancer treatment and can also be caused by Tamoxifen etc. I’ve had a few liver scans done; they normally check out your liver and surrounding area such as gallbladder. My scans have always come back clear and so far (touch wood!) they seem to have been accurate. Good luck with yours
