Hi Guys
Since dx in Oct 07 and treatment I am concerned about returning to my job as an outdoor instructor. I feel like I will be constantly putting myself at risk of Lymphoedema in this role and it something that I will worry about, I’m hoping to return to ‘normal’ and try to move on, but if it’s constantly at the back of my mind, I won’t be able to do this.
Anyway, I’ve decided to look at changing careers to Teaching, I’ve applied for for course, but can I get any assistance or is possible to register a disabled students in terms of chronic illness and cancer? Has anyone any experience of potential assistance that I might be able to access?
Sorry for long post, but was wondering if the knowledge was out there.
