Due to my extreme phobia im due to have a lump removed from my right breast on 14th june with a GA providing all goes ok at pre op assessment and dont need to see the anithetist due to phobia n allergies.
Someone said I would have a drain in when awake n possibly need over night stay. Any thoughts on this ?

I had a lumpectomy with a biopsy on the nodes I didn’t have a drain was told there would only be a drain if they had to do a node clearance but that may be different depending on what hospital you’re treated at I didn’t get to theatre till 2.30 and back to the ward till 6.30ish which meant I had to have an overnight stay because of the GA which was a bore because I had a snorer in the next bed!!!
