Various symptoms, usual worries, 2 weeks of emotional rollercoaster

So, im 41.  Very strong family history of BC.  About 6 weeks ago I has some shooting pains (mild but there in my right breast)  This was followed immeaditely by two days of a very sensitive nipple.  At the same time my lymph nodes in the righ arm pit lit up tender and the nodes in my groin too.  But no illness to speak off.  I felt well and fine.  Lymph nodes stopped being sore quite quickly but were still up.  Got to 4 weeks of being up and 4 weeks of a feeling of fullness in the breast and occasional shooting pain which was very mild. SO ive been vigilent and checking regularly which is when i noticed the lump.  Pea sized.  Hard, doesnt move, doesnt hurt.  Left it 2 weeks before going to GP who found it immeaditely and off course thrown me straight on the 2 week fast pathway.  Appt is 6th Nov.

Ive never had this feeling before in my breasts but it really does feel like there is something in there.  Its the strangest feeling,  not pain just without touching myself i can feel something is in there even though the ump i can feel with my fingers is only pea sized.

I swing from feeling fine about it and then convinced its cancer.

I have no questions really im just saying it out loud! Sorry to meet you all! xx

Hello and welcome to the forum where you will get support from the lovely ladies on here.

This is the worst time waiting for your appointment as you anxiety levels increase such that you think every ache and pain means its cancer and spread, then the rational side of you kicks in and you are able to think straight again.

Try to keep yourself distracted whilst you wait for your appointment, and come on here whenever you need help and support, we will get you through.

Please do not do Dr Google, there is a lot of out of date and misinformation out there which will put you in a tailspin if you let it.

Sending you a hug
