very tender skin / muzzles - anyone has this SE

Hiya

Noticed this after the seond FEC and now after 3rd FEC (day 4) it’s the same, you know when the hair started to fall out how our scalp becomes so tender? I have this kind of thnderness on my arms, neck, face (but not the scalp). It’s feels like it would have been bruised, difficult to describe.

Anyone else feeling that?

I remember feeling this too. I still have tender parts on my arm and face, and some areas have now gone numb! Chemo - the gift that keeps giving eh??

Last time I think it only lasted a day, will see what it feels like tomorrow.

Christine,
I had similar sensation but it was on my neck and across my shoulders and like you difficult to describe. I had it for a couple of days each chemo cycle and put it diwn to the neulasta injections.

hi, i remember having tender shoulders,and top of back it was like a bad sunburn,always about a week after fec x

This is exactly how I am feeling and have found it hard to explain to people. It is very much like the whole of the top of my back/shoulders are bruised and possibly slightly swollen/tight skin. This did move to around my lower face but that didn’t last as long. I always get this around day 3/4 after FEC. Was wondering if it was side affect of steriods rather than chemo?
