hi all,im due to start iv vinoralbine in 3 weeks,has anyone got any tips and did you lose your hair.xx

My mum is starting oral vinoralbine on Tuesday so I aksed the same question last week when she was trying to decide which treatment option to go for. I did get one responce about oral vinoralbine but none about having it by iv. If anyone comes out of the woodwork I’d be very keen to hear about their experiences too…in the meantime I’ll keep you up to date on mums progress from Tuesdsay.

hi fliss,thank you for posting,i assume there are not many on this chemo,but thanks forkeeping in touch about your mum.i hope we both do well on this.if it does not work for me it will be taxatere[which i have had once]so not looking forward to that.best wishes to you both and rest of your family.xx

Just to let you know mum took her first dose of this chemo Tuesday night. Wasn’t feeling great Tuesday evening (although some of this could have been due to anxiety) and spent most of yesterday in bed but today my dad described her as ‘more like her usual self’ and she went to work!!!
Heres hoping the treatment has good results for both of you as well.
