Hiya
l’ve just been moved off Capecitabine and onto Vinorelbine (first cycle by IV and then tablets). Any advice on side-effects? Do you know how long you can have it for? - is it like Capecitabine that you can keep taking or is it only given for a limited length of time? (should have asked Onc we had so much ground to cover that even in 45mins - he was very generous and thorough - I forgot to ask key questions…)
thanks
Sorry can’t help I’m afraid so just bumping for you.

Thank you SA
Hope you are getting on ok

I am currently on my 6th cycle - started taking it in March when nodules were found in my lungs. There is good news and bad news…the good news is that I don’t know I’m taking it! The bad news is that my nodules are still growing. The biggest has gone from 8mm to 10mm. My onc has left me on it for now as I am tolerating it well, have no symptoms (I gym/swim 4 times a week and walk my dogs for an hour every day), my nodules are still “tiny” and she doesn’t want to use up all my chemo options too quickly.
Hope it works for you and you feel as well on it as I do.
Louise - thanks for getting back on this issue but sorry to hear it’s not working for you too well. I’m feeling good today after first IV so hope it continue this way - and works! Have even had energy this morning to clean house for first time in ages so it seems to be giving us both energy and no SEs… Hoping for the best for you and glad to know that it seems to be a chemo we can keep taking. Not sure what the options are if it does not work - but won’t think about that today; need to hope for the best and hope you are too on this sunny day (well it is here…)
