Hi Scanners,

Welcome to the BCC discussion forums, I am surprised that you haven’t had any replies to your post before now as the users of this site are normally quick off the mark to support new users. We have been having some technical problems so I’m presuming that’s the reason why.

To help you along I have put a link to one of our publications which I hope you find helpful. Also our helpline team are only a free phone call away if you need someone to talk to. Calls are free, 0808 800 6000, lines open Mon-Fri 9-5 and Sat 10-2.

Hi
you seem to have been posted on 2 threads…you have some replies…me included…here’s what I wrote…

Hi
I’m sorry that you had to post on here…it’s a place no one really wants to be but writing it down does help…you will find lots of support…information and help on this site…the waiting time…which we call the waiting room is cr*p but hold on in there…I was lucky when I went for my results as I had a one stop shop…that is to say…I had mammo…ultrasound and biopsy all on the same day…waited for about half an hour and got my results…unfortunately it wasn’t the door to freedom but I knew the results on the day…there is a helpline you can phone if you really feel you need to talk to someone…as Wolsty says…hopefully you will be OK…but if not then you will be given a treatment plan and you will be on the road to recovery…keep your chin up and keep posting to let us know how you are…Maggie
