Im worried writing this. i found a lump a while ago and today i plucked up the courage to book an appointment to have it checked tomorrow at the doctors. im 22 and feel like i have some other symptoms. i havent told anyone of my friends or family or my boyfriend that i live with.

I know it’s easy to say, but try not to worry too much, most lumps and bumps turn out to be fine and even if you found yourself in the minority with bad news, treatments and support nowadays are really, really good,

thanks mabelbabel im just so panicked i keep crying in worry. i just have to wait for tomorrow morning for my docs appointment, i have to go work tomorrow too.

my appointment is this morning and i have to go back to work after ive been to have my lump checked im extremely scared im only 22
ive been to my appointment and she didnt say an awful lot apart from that it may be a cyst or a mouse or something i have got to go to a hospital quite far away to have a scan ot something im so worried
It’s standard procedure for anyone with a lump to be sent to the breast clinic, this isn’t a cause for extra concern.
The appointment is likely to be within the next 2 weeks. So not too much longer to wait. Try not to worry yourself too much.
Give the helpline a call, they are so helpful and reassuring.

still haven’t had a letter about an appointment yet all i can do is worry. ive told my boyfriend now. cos i keep crying n canr eat much cos im so scared.

i just seem to be noticing more symptoms the more i read and i just want to scream i just feel like i know the answer already. my boyfriend keeps telling me to forget about it until i have an appointment but ive had the lump ages and only just got the courage to have it checked but im terrified. i just need a constant hug :,( thankyou for replying to me though ?
thankyou so much ladies. ive read so many threads on here and you are all stars! makes me feel better knowing somone i dont even know is making the effort to reassure me. im so terrified but i just want the appointment to come through so i can just know. cant bloody do anything right now. all ive done today is tidy and clean my flat then have a shower. my boyfriend says i should see friends but i cant i dont want to mention anything until ive had my appointment. hugs to you all and welsh love (im from mid wales)

I know how u feel i have looked all over the internet and now im more freaked out than before but cant help myself, i have my appointment thursday i have a lump in my arm pit (lynth node) and a few days ago found a very small lump in my breast near the side im 32 and got 4 kids aged 14 12 6 2 and im terriffed, im now getting back ache in between my shoulder blades and rib ache but i think after reading replys on your post its probably just stress.

i dont know where it is she said ill have to just go to hospital which is like an hour away. i had my docs appointment friday and no letter yet. i just tried going to tesco to get something for me n my boyfriend to have for tea but had to leave without buying anything cos i just started crying again. i cant think bout eating or anything:( hugs xox ?

oh gosh it’s freezing here too! had a flat inspection today they do it once every 6 months n the guy couldn’t write anything down cos his hands were freezing! my boyfriends car is just stuck outside the house cos he cant drive it theres loads lf things wrong with it but i written in the ice that i love him, see if he notices haha. he’s getting train to work and back at the mo.

im going to meet him off his train and try to go to tesco again to get something nice for tea, hardly been able to eat with worrying. usually dont stop eating!

he made me have ben and jerrys icecream last night when onwas crying bless him. hes a big bob marley fan and was playing dont worry be happy very loud which kinda made me more sad in a way cos hes ao sweet, im very sensitive and emotional person ?
i looooove herbal / fruit tea. love coffee too when im in a confident happy mood too. but mostly drinking peppermint and camomile tea atm.
i will wrap up got a new bobble hat not long ago. hope you have somthing nice for tea and get all cosy.
