I am new to the forum. I had an appt at breast clinic in Sept last year and was diagnosed with a benign fibroadenoma. I was then sent to the genetic counsellor as there are 3 members of my family on the same side who have died following breast and ovarian cancer. They then stated I was at moderate risk. I have now found another lump in the same breast and have appt on Thursday. Same worries all over again and lump feels very different from fibroadenoma this time - I am 44 yrs old. Any advice would be great from people in similar situation - thank you x

Hi all. New to this so a bit apprehensive as to what to expect. I found a lump last week and thought it was something and nothing until I spoke to my daughter who told me to go to the doctors. I have been to the doctors and have an appointment at the breast clinic on Tuesday 11th. Can anyone advise me as to what will happen. Im really frightened and never experienced this sort of thing before. Sorry if I seem niave. Thanks.
