So I went to my GP after finding some dimpling and a small lump on my breast, and now I have been reffered to the breast clinic, and was able to get in on Wednesday to have my ultrasound, but in the meantime, I am driving myself insane with worry.
I am only 23, and I live away from all my friends and family, as they live in Australia while I live here in the UK. I am hoping it is nothing serious, and even if it is, I am taking comfort in the fact that it seems to be relatively small, only around 2cm the GP guessed. I already suffer from mixed anxiety and depression, so I am finding the wait to be very difficult, and even though I know I won’t get all the answers on Wednesday, I am already panicing about the potential outcomes, it doesn’t help that my family, particularly my parents are half a world away!
